Letter to myself

My Dear KL,

You look great!! In three decades, this is going to be my first (and hopefully not the last) open letter for you.

You've been through a lot of moments in your lifetime, some are high heavens that you shared a lot and inspired many people.  Some are quite low, but oh boy it didn't show.

I see all the positivity and energy in you that no one will think that you have a lot on your mind.  That is one of the good things I admired in you.

You share the happiness and the love that you have for your family and I know that it means a lot to them.  You are a very loving daughter, very strict but supportive sister, very kikay cousin and a very bubbly neice.  Continue to love your family, they will be there no matter what.  They will stand by you and fight for you if need be - always keep that in mind.

You are a very sweet and cheesy wife.  Keep the fire burning because it will help make your husband - wife relationship linger.  Continue to be young at heart and don't take everything seriously.  Love is there and you need to keep on loving.  Long lasting relationship is a choice and is hard work.

You are a dear friend! Thanks for making your friends feel that they are your family and that you consider them as your brothers and sisters from another mother.  Friends are important because they are the family that you choose. They are your extended family.

I appreciate the things that you do to the people who are not part of your family, to strangers and people in need.  It's always good to share some of your time and money with them and I know that it's the least that you can do to put a smile on their faces.

The commitment that you have for work is just "wow".  You continue to be engaged with the things that you need to do at work.  Keep it that way because I know you will go places.  Share the enthusiasm with other employees and it will lead to more engagement within the organization.

Your passion in doing a lot of DIY (Do it Yourself) and being domesticated is just enormous. You are very eager to learn new things and is not hesitant to share it with others even if you know they will laugh at it. :D

I hope that you will continue to do those things because making other people happy is something that money can't buy and is something that gives you plus points in heaven.

As we enter the new year, please be more patient with the people around you.  You tend to be irritated easily, especially if you are not in the mood.  Please count 1-10 before you speak any word.

Continue to save money for the future.  It's critical that you have something when the need arises.  If you can, invest!

Continue to spend more time with your family.
Contiue to spoil your body ~ you deserve it!
Laugh a lot, Eat healthy, Exercise more and Live to the fullest!!
