Yes! I admit! I knew about OOtD

Sometimes many months ago, this OOtD craze have been going around Instagram and Facebook.  I was just fascinated by how patient these people (my friends as well) were in taking their outfits to the next level.  Sometimes, I also thought that it's just a waste of time and it's just like bragging about what you wore for the day!

Even so, I also had fun when I did my own OOtD.  Not because I want to brag about my outfit (that I don't repeat them) but because I was able mix and match.  You will notice them in my OOtDs.

Here they are!

After a few OOtD shots, i just got tired and lazy about it! Hehe! I guess when I feel like taking the shot again, I will post more!!

Old and New!

Some few months ago, people got crazy about Flappy Bird! Yes, that famous game in our smart phones that everybody loved.  A lot of news came out from that game, it was just a sensation and believe it or not it just passed by swiftly!

With practice -- I am proud to say that I was able to score a bit high, (than the average Joe) and in one try I can easily score 80+ and my best score was 228.

Then came this new game! Oh boy, it's called Swing Copters! Another game by the one who created Flappy bird and this will surely be a hit.  My first 10+ attemps in playing the game, I scored zero, then in the next games I was able to score.  Yes, I was able to score 1.

What's my point? New things will always come our way and just when we are comfortable with what we are doing another new thing will arrive.  The "NEW" before is now "OLD" and we have to relearn everything, start from scratch and make mistakes until we perfect our craft.

Taking in new things, new challenges are like being out of our comfort zones.  Our choice is to either take on the challenge, fail and succeed or stay in our comfort zones where there is no room for improvement, growth and even nourishment.

So even if I started with these two games, there is always something that we can link into our lives and that realization is more important than anything else!

I felt like Flying -- literally!

We've been together for 7 years and been into a couple of countries and numerous cities together! All the time that I spent with him always make me shiver with "kilig".  Yes, we've passed the honeymoon stage (1-2 yrs of being married) but it always feels like honeymoon when we are exploring places together.

Every time I am with him, I always feel inspired and loved.  That is why I always feel like I am walking in clouds.

It felt very true, literally, when we were able to experience riding the Hot Air Balloon when we were in Malaysia.

Look how excited I looked while I was waving at the camera! We we're both excited actually!

Oh my, look i'm still actively waving even if we were at around 20ft high already.

The adrenaline rush is way different like riding a roller coaster and it was just a magical feeling to be in that basket for how many feet high!  Like you can talk about anything and no one will hear you.

There we are!!
I will never forget this experience because I know that it is really once in a lifetime.  While we are already here in the Philippines and we are unable to go to places more often, I am still excited to take on journeys with Sweets!

You? Have you felt this feeling that you are always excited to be with someone? If yes, then that's the right person for you.  If not, then go out and explore! The right one will just be around the corner without you even realizing it!

Happy Friday: Indeed Proud to be where I am now!

Many of my friends in Accenture knows that I am a returnee.
Been with the organization for a total of 7 years now;
- HR People Advisor for 5 years
- HR Service Desk for 1 year
- CF HR Recruitment for 1 year

All within HR, providing services to Technology people, Accenture employees (in Service Desk) and HR.  I thought I knew it all - how to engage people who are within the organization and how to attract people outside of Accenture, but I was wrong!  I totally am just half informed / knowledgeable of what we really do as an organization! Maybe I missed on this assignment!

I previously mentioned from my other entries (HR, Training, First Love to name a few) on how happy and proud I am to be part of this great organization.  How they continue to engage me with my career, the opportunities for growth and the chance of sharing what I know to others (Accenture people or non Accenture People).  Most especially how they make Accenture people aware of "What is it that we really do?".

Yesterday I attended this training: Accenture Philippines Business Overview, I thought that it was just another training about Accenture and what we do BUT it was way too far from what I expected it to be!

The training talked about how my work in Corporate Functions relate to the overall goal of the organization.  How we fit into the big picture and how we (in Corporate Functions) play a key role to our organization's growth.

It was really a day of "aaah!" moments for me and I was very pleased to know these things -- listening to our Senior Managers talk about their businesses was just inspiring and engaging! It felt like I want to make sure that I do a better job in what I have to do -- because it really means a lot to them!

It's always good to have this check and balance to make sure that we are gearing towards the right path, we know that we are one with the journey and we have that appreciation on how we can provide and deliver our promises, not only to our clients but to our People!

Tagaytay: Java Jazz

Tagaytay is the best place to be if you want to avoid the busy and noisy streets of the metro.  Not to mention the weather  is so great, the people are nice and there are a lot of food havens to try!

One of which is at Java Jazz. It is located at 442 Tagytay-Calamba Road, Sungay West, Tagaytay City, Cavite.  You will see this place just before you reach Picnic Grove.

It's a simple place to eat, relax and be calmed by the jazz music that is playing. The food is not extravagant, it will satisfy your simple cravings for coffee, pasta and bread!

Their coffee is Cafe de Tagaytay and it's just simple love!
There are also other coffee to try as well as hot chocolate.

The place also has paintings from different artists in the city.  The owner also loves to paint thus the paintings.   They were simple yet will let your imagination work!

Yes, you can eat in this table setting.
Japanese style in the heart of Tagaytay! (just no japanese food :D)

The low ceiling and wood floor added to the simplicity of the place.
The environment was calm and it's just nice to be there and talk about life with my husband!

A simple haven for simple people like us!
The coffee + jazz music + my husband was just the perfect combo meal for me and it made me realize even more the blessings that I have in my Life!!

My Home Made Yogurt

When I was in Malaysia, my friend taught me how to eat Yogurt.  We then ate it with different fruits and nuts, we even put honey in it.

Here in the Philippines, I always buy the Nestle Yogurt because I learned to love it but now no more Nestle Yogurt for me.

My cousin (Ate Ytche) introduced me to EasiYo -- Real Yogurt Maker!

With EasiYo, Yogurt is made easy and fun! Right in your very own home at your own time! Let me show you!

First you have to prepare your set in making the yogurt! (Mine is shown above)

1. The white container
2. The container where to put your yogurt
3. The powdered yogurt
4. Water (boiled and cold)

First you have to put cold water (not warm) into your container, half fill it.  Then pour the powder and mix well, mix until all of the powder are dissolved in water.

Fill the entire container up to 1L and then mix again to make sure that there are no powder and bubble left.

Close the lid, then put it in the big white container (it has a separate instruction on how to put hot (after boiling) water in it).  Then close the lid of the white container and then let it sit in the counter and wait for 8-12 hours before you open it again.
I did mine at 6pm then opened it at 6am the following day (Yes, I recommend that you do it overnight).

Voila!! After 12 hours, its all set and you can eat it already!!

So yummy and creamy!
I ate it as it is (no added ingredient yet) because it tastes so good! I can finish 250mL in one sitting!

My next project is the Vanilla Yogurt and I can already imagine how yummy it's going to be especially if I add fruits, nuts, cereals and honey!! Hmm! Can't wait!!
