Happy Friday: What's Next to a Successful Career!

Last Wednesday night while I was browsing FB, I saw this very wonderful video posted by Sweets.

It inspired me and I want you to be inspired by it as well.

So, what can you say?

Nowadays, yuppies - young professional / entrepreneurs like us are always on the go to reach for our career goals and receive a high paying salary. We want to have it all and brag about it!

However, we should not forget the simple things that money cannot buy! Things that will make our old folks (parents) and family be very very proud of us.  Here are my simple acts of love:

1. Send a simple SMS - "How are you guys doing?"
2. Plan for a simple family get together - if budget is an issue then do it at home.
3.  Have a movie marathon at home - or a simple feel good family movie
4. Go for biking with your sisters, brothers, parents
5. Cook for lunch or dinner - food shared together even how simple means a lot.

You can have your own act of love but have an end in mind - it has to express how important and special your family is!

Love of the Family is LIfe's greatest Blessing ~

No to Pork!

I love Pork - but the fact that it's not healthy for my diet I tend to avoid it.

Today - Filipinos will be marching to Luneta feeling sick, tired and betrayed by PORK!

Today is where we (whether in Luneta or not) stand for our right and wish for a corrupt free country.

Today more than anything else, we act as one and we want to be heard.

Today we pray that those who have the power to change the way politics work in the Philippines - make a stand and help decrease poverty.

Today we want change and we are all hoping to have this change for the better!!!

Today we fight!
Today we speak!
Please LISTEN AND TAKE ACTION!

Old Boots!

These past few days we saw how our fellow Filipinos struggled because of Maring and Habagat.  However, despite what's happening, you will see from the news and social media how Filipinos handled the situation.

A lot of netizens commented that being a happy person is a trait that we Filipinos can be proud of.  That despite the tragedy, we can still find a lot of reasons to smile and be happy.

Like these old boots, some people might throw these goodies away but for creative minds, something can be done - like the image above.

My take away:

In any situation, we can always do something about it.
It is just a matter of letting our imagination live within us.

How about you? How creative are you?

One of my fave moments!

Is when Ciolo is always there at my side!

When I was studying my presentation!

When I was just sitting outside our home!

When we were about to sleep!

When Ciolo wants to play with our dog visitor "Cola".

When I caught him sneaking to take my apples!

When I was about to do my exercise!

When I was about to do my sit ups!

When I was singing my lungs out!

When he wanted me to give
him some corn!

When he is chasing for my cupcake!

This is Now! While I am doing the blog!

-----------------
And the story continues...
When I was fixing my luggage.. I just stepped out and suddenly saw him inside.

When I was about to leave the house for office.
He was patiently looking at me from afar.

When I was already outside the house, he was inside the garage!

Oh boy! Those eyes! Argh!

I love Ciolo!
Take Care my Baby! Diaz - Fernando family loves you!!!

The parents! :)

Happy Friday: How heavy are you?

carolinanaturally.blogspot

Different things happen to different people.  No one have the same faith or luck because we live our lives differently.
If we are not that lucky in getting the things that we want or we are facing a lot of challenges, what should be our next step?

Our next step is to always believe that we CAN!

Even if there seems to be no way - just believe that things will have its way for us.  Why? because people in general believes that something is going to happen if we take action.

Believing that we can is the first step!
Taking action is the second step!
Sharig our blessing would be the third step!

Now let me share with you a special illustration that I found from Pinterest.

Optimism - is a mental attitude or world view that interprets situations and events as being best (optimized), meaning that in some way for factors that may not be fully comprehended, the present moment is in an optimum state.  The concept is typically extended to include the attitude of hope for future conditions unfolding as optimal as well. (wiki)

In laymans term - Optimism is believing that things happen for a reason and that greater things are coming our way.

You cannot buy Happiness...

--- but you can buy Chocolates and Shoes.
--- but Chocolates have calories so it's better to buy Shoes! Awweee!

I do not have a lot of shoes because I want to limit myself to a few pairs only.  However, as I look through Pinterest and Instagram I am always driven to browse through these wonderful shoes and I can't help but to admire them over and over again!

I have a promise to myself and I do not intend to break it ~ but as the need arises, I will never think twice to get a new pair.

Who loves shoes??
A guide for all of us :)

Stay Safe Everyone!

Photo from NatGeo

From yesterday until today, I am continuously monitoring the weather.
I am here in Laguna and I am not certain how to go back to Angono because of these floodings and majority of the roads were blocked.

I find twitter very helpful right now especially DZMM for the real time updates.  It was a blessing in disguise that I have my office laptop with me, else I will not be able to work from home.  Thanks to Accenture for this flexibility.

I am praying that this rain will stop and I am hopefull that everything that was damaged will be restored soon.

I am praying for everyone!

This is how to be creative!

I always believe that LIFE gives us a lot of opportunities to take action. Whether it's about our career, love life, family, friends or even ourselves, it is always about taking action.

Grabbing the opportunity as they come and making the most out of it is always the way to go.  Doing the things that we know will benefit us and being happy about it is the right attitude.

BUT...

What if FAITH / DESTINY is not within your radar and it seemed like nothing / no one is helping you out?  Will you give up?  Will you surrender your happiness because you are all alone? The answer is a BIG NO!

My husband shared this cute video and I interpreted it as "Taking Action"

PS: This was taken in Japan and the cute pup has an owner :)

This cute little dog enjoyed the moment even if he was all alone.
He played catch all by himself and it looked like he had a lot of fun!

This is how we should take our lives daily.  We should make do even if we are all alone, we should know how to be happy and to live the moment.

Always remember my dear family and friends ~ Life is short and there is no greater opportunity than to LIVE today! :D

When you are stressed...

Majority of women would agree to this!

I love shoes but not as much as I love chocolates! Now who has the same mantra?

Different strokes for different folks; we all have our own fetish.  We just need to know what it is because stress can come at an unexpected time and we should know how to handle it!

Stick to what makes you stress free and you are off to fly! Woot woot!

Happy Friday!!

Happy Friday: What is your Dream?

They say that kids' dreams are the most genuine of them all.  It is through their dreams that we see innocence, we see perfection, we see belief and drive.  It is through their eyes that everything can be done and that there is always a way!

However, as we grow older, as we experience life, it is when dreams become consevative.  It becomes unreachable or impossible.  Why? Because we put limits to ourselves, we cage our ability to dream big because we are afraid to lose, afraid to fall.

I firmly believe that even if we are no longer kids, we can still dream big.  Have you heard of the "Dream Board"?  You will usually hear these things from Financial Talks, Entrepreneurial discussions and the like.  A Dream Board is a simple board that contains your dreams, your aspirations, the things that will keep the fire in you, will keep you motivated and driven.

Interested to see my Dream Board? Here it is! :D

This is my Dream Board because this person is the one who gives me the inspiration to do the impossible.  This person made me believe that DREAMS to come TRUE and they really do!

Well you know me, I have different interprepations of things and thus I have a different kind of Dream Board.  However, if you are serious about creating your own, then this is a sample:

From http://loael.wordpress.com/
Just put the things that you want to achieve in your life and place it in a spot in your room where you can always see it!  This is one good way to start your day right!

Are you ready to create your Dream Board? Go on and make your dream a reality.

Happy Friday: How much do you love You?

You cannot give what you do not have!
Main point: Start with "me" then "you"!

I have always been a jolly person and most of the time I can say that I bring joy to the people around me, especially my friends.  Then they would ask: How can you give a lot of joy to people? Then I would simply say "I am happy inside and out".

Now what would you like to share to your family and friends? The greatness of Life or its doomsday? I say choose "GREAT" than "DOOM"!

Let us make our everyday a Happy Moments sharing day! 👍

Sharing with you the poster from Karen! Such an inspiration to me!

My Nails, My Life!

There are times when I feel kikay and I like to have my nails look nice, a simple manicure is enough and I already feel like a princess (yes I am mababaw!).  However, since I cannot stand it to just sit still, I still do some house chores.  I always chip my nails and I was not happy about it. I always tell Mama:
"shet ung kuko ko!"
then she would reply:
"wag ka kase maghugas (ng pinggan)!".

Just being me!

Sometimes, when we chip our nails (even how small) we wanted to remove the entire nail polish.  I believe that this is not the way to go, instead it should be a learning experience.

1. Learn to be patient - Let the nails dry! It takes time but it will be worth it.
2. Think out of the box - If you want to do something but you do not want to ruin your nails then be creative.  Read a book, browse pinterest and get some inspiration!  You will enjoy reading / browsing that you will forget about the time spent drying your nails.
3. Appreciate beauty - Even if you have a teeny weeny chip on your nail polish, look at the entire nail! It is still beautiful! Another thing, that little chip is not visible to the people you talk to, unless you will show'em!
4. Move on - that little chip will not grow back nor will it affect your other 9 1/2 nails! Let it be!
5. Anticipate what's coming tomorrow one to two weeks from the time you chipped your nail, you will have a new color again!

How we react to our nails can be an indication on how we react to what is happening in our lives! It's like treating our nails the way we treat our life!

Make sense? :D
