Puerto Princesa: Always a wonder!

Third time is a wonder! We've been to Puerto Princesa last 2009, then to Coron in 2011.  This is the third time that we are visiting this wondrous place, this time in Puerto Prinsesa again but the major upgrade is that we have Papa Gary and Louise with us!!

Papa was so excited before we board the plane, he even requested to have a shot with Ninoy!

Before we board, we were brought by this mini shuttle to our boarding gate. Felt like VIPs!

It's not the first time that Louise and Papa rode the plane but we will never miss this shot inside and outside the plane.

Our (my husband and I) plan was to stay in Palawan for vacation, literally vacation, we don't intend to visit any place and just stay in our accommodation.

We have with us my sister and father whom we booked into another accommodation that included package tours.

After alighting our flight, we were welcomed by Kuya driver who brought us to Ysabelle Mansion.

Louise and Papa Gary stayed at Ysabelle Mansion, it was only 15-20 minutes travel from the airport and is within downtown (City proper of PP).  It was my first time to see Ysabelle Mansion and it was a good place to stay.

This accommodation included free breafast and the room has free WiFi as well.  We only reserved a room for two people but they gave us a room with two queen sized beds and a decent bath room.

They also have their own television (Papa specifically asked this one because he doesn't want to miss his favorite Teleserye "Ang Probinsyano")  and mini refrigirator.

Outside their room, only a few steps away is their retaurant and they have a pretty cool garden where you can take a lot of pictures. Similar to what Louise did.

After bringing their stuff at Ysabelle, we went straight to dinner.
Where else should we eat than the famous Kinabutch Restaurant.

We had their famous Tamilok, Sisig Alligator and Grilled Tuna Panga.
For soup, we ordered pork Sinigang.

Tip: Bring your insect repellant.

---------------

Their accommodation already included their tour and so for their Day1, they headed to the famous Undergroud River.

This is Papa waiting for their boat ride.

It took them another 30 minute boatride before they reached the wonder.
This is one famous shot people will not miss once they arrive the entrance of Underground River.

I remember that we also had this shot (Our Puerto Prinsesa Adventure)

Again, another shot that will never be missed if you visit this place.

Remember that Underground River is not easily accessible.  You have to have an arrangement with your tour guide (in our case we have Ate Jen Bonus again) to be able to access this lovely site.  Your name should be registered first.

Shot taken inside the cave, thus dark :)

This trip is an entire day trip and Louise and Papa were tired after this tour.
The following day, they were off to their half day City Tour.

Mitra's ranch was part of the tour.

Then to the Crocodile Farm, which is now called "Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center".

Papa, posed with Mr Alli :D

Then ofcourse their shot with the babies.
It has green background because they have placed background to the shot and then print it after.

Then, here is Louise with the real adult one.

Then a shot with this oh so large one!

Next stop and will never be missed in this City Tour was Baker's Hill.

Not only they have one of my favorite hopia.  They also have a lot of great landscapes and statues.

People of all ages will love Baker's Hill.
See, even Papa enjoyed it there.

Then definitely not the last, they also have their own Alligator.

I hope they enjoyed their stay in Palawan even if it was just a short time.

When you are worried? What do you do?

Christmas air is brushing against my cheeks and I was in the mood to listen to Christmas songs (yes it keeps me sane!).

Kidding aside, one song struck me and it was very relatable now a days!
It's more than a decade old song but I know you will definitely like it.

When you are worried and there are a lot of things to think about, what do you do?  Will you think and worry more?  Will it give you the peace that you need to sleep at night? no right!!

This song (written by Irving Berlin for the 1954 movie White Christmas and beautifully sung by Jose Mari Chan) will give you that snap and realization that there are a lot more things to think about that will make us all feel loved and appreciated!

Happy singing!!

Be inspired and continue to be a blessing to someone!
