Graduation -- is just the start!

This year, we have two graduates in the family.
Louise, who graduated from Secondary School;
Mika, who graduated from Tertiary School.

I graduated X number of years ago and I can firmly say that
"Graduation is just the start" ~ a start of a wonderful journey, this is the journey of the real life.

Graduating from Highschool is the start of something more serious than music clubs or weekend trips.  It is the time to think about what type of life one would want to pursue -- to be a professional educator? A noble servant of the church or a journalist.  Whatever it will be - it should be something that will highlight ones potential.

To Louise: I appreciate your perseverance.  Being active academically and non academically is really challenging but you were able to excel both.  I don't need you to graduate with flying colors, I just want you to do your best.  Always remember that family is of primary importance -- if all else fails, we are always and will always be here for you.  It's fine to have a love life (been there done that!) but it's equally important to finish your studies.  Education has always been the best thing that Mama and Papa can give us!  Finishing college will be tough, but having the mindset that this is the last leg of the race then it should give you the motivation to move forward!

You will always be my little twin sister so bear with me when I start to bra-ta-tat-ta-tat!!! @_@

Graduating from College is a lot more serious than graduating from Highschool. This is REALLY where life begins!  After graduation, students won't have allowances anymore, they have to work for their own money (which is really tough in the real world).  Co-workers will not tolerate bratinellas or pasaways so therefore no more cry baby.  The world is a huge competition, be ready to show your highest potential. I do not mean to scare you Mika (or the other graduates for that matter) but it is essential to know the truth because preparation is key.

To Mika: Congats in making this far! Makakasama na ang picture mo sa dingding natin! You have gone through a lot and i know that it literally meant blood and sweat pouring all throughout and you made it!  Thanks for listening and for always listening! Do not get tired of hearing my non stop sermon because that's the only thing i can give you - a window in understanding how the world works.

Be matured in every way you should be! Hindi madali ang buhay kaya dapat marunong kang sumayaw sa alon! There is a lot more that you don't know so make sure that you listen to what we say!
Unang una - magpapayat ka!! Seryoso at walang halong biro!
Pangalawa - tigilan ang non sense status messages -- engr ka na kaya behave as such.
Pangatlo - wag kalimutan ang pamilya - if all else fails - hernandez, diaz and fernando family will always be there!
Lastly, make sure that you mean what you say and you commit to changing yourself to be a better person every step of the way! ❤

You will always be my eyes and ears at home, soon you will find your own life - do not forget to look back! Love you always!

To Louise and Mika - this is just the start! Enjoy the ride and don't be stubborn and a cry baby! ❤

We are just here.. kahit anong kaartehan yan.. sasagutin ko..
Kahit anong knock knock yan.. tatawanan ko (kahit di ko alam ung kanta)
Basta walang makakalimot sa kung saan tayo lahat nag simula..
Wag kalimutan si Mama at Papa!

Xoxo
