Fifty is the new Forty, but Forty is the new 18!

Last Saturday (July 12), we celebrated the 50th birthday of our very dear Tita Ninang!

I am very proud to say that the pamangkins and sisters were the ones who facilitated this surprise party for Tita Ninang.  It took us almost three months to discuss all the details and i believe we were successful.

The surprise party was held at Tita Baby's place in Joel Town, they were also the one who prepared the food.

When Tita Ninang entered the place, we all sang "Happy Birthday" loudly and she was welcomed with golden flowers.

We also prepared a registration for all of the guests and they were all cooperative to guess how many candles were there and to write their "Thank You" notes to Tita Ninang.

Then we asked her to sit in front, with the backdrop that we prepared and balloon pillars. ^_^

We started the program with welcome remarks and headed to have our meal (because this is a surprise party for Tita Ninang, guests waited for her arrival for close to two hours -- yes ganyan namin ka love si Tita Ninang)!

After the meal we then proceeded with the program.

50 is the new 18 and thus we didn't miss the 18 roses!!

Then we had blowing of candles and again we sang our loudest "Happy Birthday"!

We also prepared a powerpoint presentation for Tita Ninang to showcase the people who loves her a lot!

Ofcourse the birthday messages will not be missed.. Headed by Tita Baby!

The party was also like a reunion. All of the Hernandez family was there and we all wore the special T-Shirt that was given by Tita Ninang!

The following day (July13) on the exact date of Tita Ninang's birthday they attended a mass and thanked Him for all of the blessings!

Again, to Tita Ninang Lynley -- thanks for everything and we all love you!!

Happy Friday: Celebrated April with a BANG!

Oh wow! It's MAY and we still have one month to go to enjoy the summer heat.  Have you taken your summer getaway yet?

For the month of April, my husband and I have been into places.    Not new places but just all over the place and he was complaining that we had a lot going on last Month.

Last April 4 - we had dinner at Dampa, with one of our close friend, Jacqui.  Pity we were not able to take some pictures because we were so engossed in catching up.  I was only able to take a snapshot of the foodies! Hehe!

Last April 5 - we were able to get our own transport and I am very proud with what Sweets (well we) have achieved! I am looking forward for more blessings this year! We went to the showroom, then to the bank and the insurance and all that stuff - but it was all worth it.

Have another glimpse in my Good Karma post.

Last April 6 - we went to Manaoag, Pangasinan for the blessing of the new transport.  It was a 4 hour ride but with the help of SCTEX it was quite convenient.  Pity (again) we were not able to take some snaps because we were focused on the blessing and prayers.

We went to have lunch at the famous "Isdaan" where the "Tacsiyapo Wall" was well known.  Of course we had to pose there!

Last April 12 - we celebrated a triple event of happiness where we proclaimed that "Greater Things are about to Happen"!

Take another glimpse here -- Triple Celebration

It was also the debut of my "Candy Buffet" raket!

Last April 20 - it was an Easter Sunday Christening event that I hosted! Another new for me and loved how the theme was prepared.

Check it out again in - when we welcomed Sybelle!

Last April 25 - it was my inlaw's wedding anniversary and we celebrated it at Pagsanjan Falls.  It was all our first time and we all loved it.

Last April 26 - we went to Ortigas to attend the 1st Birthday of Ethan (Ann's Son).  It was a sports themed party and in coincidence, we were also wearing green, same as Ethan :)

Last April 27 - we went to meet our friend from MY, Karl! We were lucky to also meet his Lola Groovy and his family.

Then we had the chance to try another Halo Halo - to beat the summer heat!

It's just the start of May and I am excited with the plans that we have for this month!  Can't hide that summer excitement anymore!! ^_^

Times three Celebration: Happy Happy Family = Happy Happy Life

These past few weeks, there have been several celebrations in our family.
There was Louise' graduation, Mama's Bday and Mika's graduation.

What's the best way to celebrate all of these wonderful events is to celebrate it all in one day together with the special people in our lives.

We all thought and agreed that a Triple Celebration would be nice - to celebrate the events that happened and to share the blessings that happened to our family.  Then when I was thinking of a theme.. this came to mind:

"GREATER THINGS TO HAPPEN"

Because I know that Greater things will surely happen if we continue to have the positive outlook that we have in our life!  I know that if we all stick together and we listen to each other -- greater things will happen :)

I already said my two cents to Louise and Mika -- Graduation Message
I hope that everything that I said will stick to their minds and hearts.  I can only say so much -- but it's them who needs to act on it.

To Mama, who is celebrating her 58th birthday.
My only wish for you is:

May you continue to be healthy until you celebrate the wedding of your first apo!  I have said enough and also action speaks louder than words, so I don't have to over emphasize that I love you so much! You know that! ^_^

To my two younger siblings - thanks for giving me the strength in celebrating!
Here is a sample photo booth that we had! Thanks for all the support!

Thanks Louise for helping me create the props.
Thanks Sweets for patiently taking our pictures.
Thanks to our color bright yellow wall that made the all pictures pop. ^_^

Thanks for all those who prepared the food!

Life is sweet and so I made some treats!
For the kids and kids at heart! My very own Dessert Buffet ~

If you want to have some sweet treats into your parties -- give me a ring!
Again, I would like to thank everyone who came and who celebrated with us!

See you all again! Muah!
