What is your Christmas Wish?
In the Philippines we have this song..
"Ang pasko ay kay saya kung kayo'y kapiling na.
Sana pagsapit ng pasko kayo'y naririto.
Kahit na malayo ka, kahit nasan ka pa
Maligayang bati para sa inyo sa araw ng pasko"
In English:
Christmas will be merry most especially if you are here. Even if you are far from home, I would like to greet you a very merry Christmas!
-------------------------
Last year, we (Sweets and I) celebrated Christmas Day here in Malaysia. It was not as festive as it is in the Philippines but just enough to celebrate the season. I can't recall how we celebrated Christmas but I know that we ate out at that time and posed under Christmas Trees and reindeer.
That was last year and this year will be a lot different!
It excites me more to know that we will be celebrating Christmas in the Philippines. I am even more excited to anticipate what will happen in our "Christmas Parties".. Ooh a lot of food, fun, games and laughter awaits us and it makes me giggle a lot!
My only wish for Christmas is to celebrate it at home with my loved ones and I am very blessed to have my wish come true. For some people this might be a very simple wish but for me this is an experience that cannot be compared in any monetary value. The experience is worth any Christmas gift that I can receive and I am sure that I will make the most of it.
How about you? What is your Christmas Wish?? ^_^
Btw, have you completed your Christmas Plan yet?
Need help, check this out --> Christmas Game Plan

Happy Friday: Who loves to sing?
... But singing does not like you? hehehe...
This is exactly what I have been asking myself all this time. I admit that I am a frustrated singer; but I know that people around me are very happy every time I sing. Not because I am a good singer but because I sing from the heart, I sing with all my sincerity.
I remember singing in a Palmeras with all of my mother side relatives. It was Ate Yyette's birthday and they were all surprised when I went up the stage and sang "The Climb". They were all yelling, clapping and taking videos because they were very happy (I suppose)! From all of my cousins and siblings (who were good singers) I had the guts to go up and sing! Ehem!! Well!
If I believed that I sang from my heart and I know that people smile because they can hear me sing then I will not stop singing! hehehe.. but not the serious singing stuff because that's not me.
Just this afternoon when I was watching this video, I remembered my singing talent. I realized that sometimes it is not about how well I sing, but how well I can share my singing ability to others where they can appreciate and eventually make them smile. :)
This video is funny! Yes! But this video is INSPIRING as well!
Were you inspired? I hope so!
Talk to you soon!

ABS - CBN 2012 Christmas Station ID!
Every year, ABS-CBN will make their very own Station IDs, whether it is for "Summer" or "Christmas" season. This time of the year obviously they will have their Christmas Station ID, where we (Kapamilyas) are all excited to see!
Their station IDs are composed of almost all of their talents (singers, actors, actress, news anchors and even executives) and it's good to see how they all come together to send one message.
This year's station ID was inspired by the things that happened these past few years, calamities that we all surpassed and where the spirit of "bayanihan" was very evident.
Although this might not be the best (for me) but it is still very good!
I hope that you will also like it.
I hope that this video will have English subtitles so that we can share to our foreign national friends / colleagues.
Christmas is really in the air.
I wish to great everyone a very Merry Christmas! :)

Christmas Game Plan!
Exactly 10 weeks to go and Christmas is coming! For us Filipinos, Christmas is the most wonderful season of the year and as early as the "ber" months we can already hear the sound of Christmas Carols and can already feel the Christmas breeze.
I don't know about other people but for me Christmas is a season for LOVE, LOVE and lots of LOVE!
As Christmas approaches, I always got very excited because there are a lot of events (Christmas Parties, Dinner, night out) to look forward to. This is also the perfect time to meet up with friends and relatives. I guess this is the time of the year where people catch up on each others' news and (so to say) gossips! It will always be a season for merriment, thanksgiving and sharing! How I love what I see!
However, Christmas is not just everyday fun. As I grow older (yes I am aware of that!) I feel the pressure on how to make tis' season a special one for my loved ones and family members. One of the most exciting part is when I am doing my Christmas planning and this is something that I would like to share!
I have created a time line to make my life easy this coming holiday season and I hope that it would also be helpful to others. This is a general one and you can add more information according to your needs.
See below:
Click each image for a larger view.
This is just a guide and we need not stress ourselves with these activities. What we should be reminded on is that 'tis the season to enjoy!
Also, let us make sure that we do not forget the reason for the merriment. The reason that we feel very light and happy when we share, let us not forget HIM who is always there, not only during Christmas but all year round!

My simple office attire!
It was an ordinary office day for me when suddenly one of my colleagues told me that we are living in 5 minutes to attend a client meeting.
I was like "What?" how come just now, I was not able to prepare!
I mean I was wearing an inappropriate office attire for a client meeting.
I stopped for a while and think of the things that I have with me to make me look professional.
Just so you can relate, this is what I was wearing when I arrived at the office.
Actually this attire is very me! I am not such a fan of polo shirt, skirt anymore since I want to be a little bit more casual but still has the office attire look.
This one is black top, black slacks, grey short sleeves cardigan and red flats. :)
When my colleague told me the news about the client meeting, I immediately thought of the wardrobe that I may have in handy in my bin.
Luckily, I have 2 pair of shoes (I like to keep one or two in handy for such event), I also I have my blazer (also reserving it for a candidate or client meeting) and then just that day my friend returned my scarf!
Yahoo now that my attire is complete, I just have to fix my hair, put a little bit of lipstick and then I am off to my client meeting!
Nice right?!! Yes! It was fun! Fun to have the girl scout spirit in me.
Now this is what happened to me! Ready to hit the conference room and meet with the clients!
Just sharing! how things in my bin got in handy in times of needs!

Happy Friday: Carry yourself NOW!
Nothing is impossible even the word says "I'm possible" - Audrey Hepburn
The key here is for us to learn where to start.. once we have figured out where to start then the next question is "how?".
There is no question about when because it should be "NOW"!.
Even the fish can fly ONLY if they believed in what they want to achieve so I think us as humans can do a lot more!
Sometimes it is not the goal that bothers us a lot, it is the ability to start NOW! :)

Pit Stop!
When the time comes that you feel down and exhausted, stop for a while!
Give yourself some time to think and reflect on where you are right now and appreciate every beauty in your surrounding.
Think back on what gives you the inspiration to live and live a happy life!
That's good enough to feel happy and contented!
Remember: Happy people are those who are contented with what they have and has the ability to continuously inspire themselves and others!

Pre Nuptial Pictorial - Jen and Ed
I personally liked engagement shots (pre-nuptial pictorials). You will notice from the previous blogs that I have shared.
> Our Pre-nup
> Our dear friend Noel
> Pre-nup inspiration
I especially liked the fact that a couple is very much inlove and it shows in their eyes. Even more, they can show how quirky they are in their engagement shots!
On the other hand my husband likes to take photos and majority of his shots were of course me! Sometimes we think if there will be a chance that he can shoot other people.
Last month it happened..
It all started when we had dinner at Ed's place and we talked about how pre- nuptial pictorials can be so exciting. We started to talk about which theme to use, which place to go and started to exchange ideas. There were a lot to think about, however, since Jen is going back to Philippines (to take care of their wedding preparations) we immediatly decided if they wanted to have their quick pe-nuptial pictorial here in Malaysia; even with the simplest theme that we can think of.
A week after the said dinner, one Saturday morning, while we all met at the market place, Jen and Ed mention that the pre-nuptial pictorial was on and asked if we were available to join them. Excitedly, we answered a big "YES".
Sunday:
We initially planned to have the shoot at Titiwangsa Lake (simply because I cannot think of any other park here in Malaysia). BUT! Ed's GPS broke down and we lost our way going to Titiwangsa Lake and we found ourselves going towards Putrajaya!
Blessing in disguise, Ed decided to come to Taman Botani instead!
It was all our first time to come to that place and we were all delighted on what we've seen. There were a lot of spots good for photo opps and we did not waste any time and started shooting!
Our second stop was at Putrajaya Mosque but we did not enter the mosque, we went over the lakeside and did some photo opps there.
I was very happy to find out that Jen prepared for this pre-nup shoot by preparing some props! One of the best props that she made was the message "Grow old with me", very simple line but it says a lot!
I know from my heart of hearts that me and my husband were lucky to have this opportunity! We are not professionals but we were able to share our passion to this wonderful couple!
I hope that the happiness shown in the pictures will not only be pictures but will be the feeling forever! Forever HAPPY and INLOVE!
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Ed and Jen!

Happy Friday: WORLD TEACHER'S DAY!
In many countries, Teacher's Day are intended to be special days for the appreciation of teachers, and many include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community in general. The date on which Teacher's day is celebrated varies from country to country.
(From Wikipedia)
Today we are celebrating WORLD TEACHER'S DAY.
Now I am not only celebrating this day for my teachers but I am very proud to celebrate this day together with Mama who has been my Teacher until this day and will be my teacher until forever.
She did not only contributed to an academic aspect in my school days but she gave me the LIFE that no one can offer and gave me the INDEPENDENCE that no other person can teach me (of course with PAPA's guidance as well).
Nothing can compare to how patient she was in making us (me, Gboy, Mika, Louise) a responsible student, person, friend and child.
Everything was done with LOVE and COMMITMENT.
Now all people are celebrating this day to honor their teachers but I am celebrating this day to HONOR my MOTHER who became an inspiration not only to me ( and my siblings) but also to thousands of students whom she shared her LIFE with.
Being a teacher is no JOKE! It is the willingness to share your life to others even if some people do not realize its value!

Ways to LOVE!
Sharing is LOVING and LOVING is sharing!
It will always be better to give than to receive.
Therefore, give without asking something in return and
GOOD THINGS will just go flowing our way!
