Abrahm: An Artist in the making!

Fernando and Antazo Family are both from Rizal Province but we rarely go out together -- so if time permits I am the ones who gatecrash their wonderful home and play with the kids!

I always take a lot of picture but for this particular weekend picture taking was only done with the angel!

Baby you grow up so fast -- the last time I was with you, you didn't have teeth, you don't speak, you don't run so often and you were suplado.

This time you were so friendly and bubbly!
You listen so attentively that it feels like you know what we are talking about!
You are so masunurin and I hope you will continue to be like that!

You called this Yellow Monkey -- "Mommy" because she embraced the "Baby" -- according to Ate, no on taught you that -- smart kid!

Your look makes me feel I am beautiful! haha!
You make me wanna listen to you while you watch your Toy Review via YouTube!

You are Sweet's buddy --- So Sweet!

He even did his own music video as he would like to share what keeps him busy most of the day -- except the eating and drinking milk :)

What a lovely weekend with the Atazos.

PLEASE: Listen to what is not said!

This is super out of the blue post -- I had no recent activities, I did not went into any travel or attended any party -- plainly I was just reading some posts from the wall of my father and this video that was shared by my brother really broke my heart.

Some 7 years ago, I was not an animal lover but I have respected them because (1) that's human nature, to give respect people, animals and all living things and (2) my father used to work with DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) and he always told us that we should take care of everything that is just alive (with caution of course to those that are deadly) -- animals, plants and everything who lives and breaths.

When I met my husband (who had a lot of dogs at home and Ciolo), my love for animals shoot up and I loved every furry / non furry animal that I see.  Simply because they (like humans) deserves to live and to be loved!  If possible -- if they live in the wild -- let them be right?! That's their home!

I bursted into tears right after watching this video and thinking what could have been if we understood what he was trying to tell the people surrounding him.

Now it's too late and he is dead but it is NEVER TO LATE TO REALIZE!

If we can only listen to them even if they cannot speak.
If we can only identify their needs and wants.
If we can only understand them.
Maybe, just maybe their lives will be safe and they will not in any way be translated as someone who will endanger our lives.

We are humans and we are created far more greater than animals because we have brains that functions, we have mouths that can utter words -- let us use them with caution and care.  I am not in any way against anyone or any organization because people do things as per process and as per SOP, I just wished that he was able to speak and tell how he felt when it happened..

So if you have animals at home, animals whom you treat as family, I know you know what I am talking about because you understand and love them!

Spread the awareness!

Foodies in Legazpi

Following our 3D2N Stay in Legazpi let me now share with you the foodies that we shared!  Because we did not roam that much, we really enjoyed the food.

First was when we had our Buffet Breakfast at the Ariport Hotel.
Airport Hotel was just a 5 minute ride from Neuhouse and plus the fact that Sweets really liked Buffet, we opt to take this one for our first meal in the city.

Since we were not from the Airport Hotel, we paid first before we took our dive to the foodies - Php199.00 per person! Quite a deal!

The breakfast was generally Filipino and you have the option to have rice, pasta, fruits or bread.  We opted to take everything! Bwahaha!

Few more dishes as follows:

Then our lunch was care of Bigs Diner:

Then our dessert was from the famous..

We had, Pili Ice Cream and (of course) Sili Ice Cream (Level 1).

Then dinner was at Willkommen.

This was actually an accident -- it was almost 8pm and the malls were already closed.  We were thinking to just buy some cup noodles from 7-11 but we were lucky to have passed by this wonder on our way home.  It was also raining at that t

The following day, we were off to our Island Hopping but before we head to Bacacay Port we went to Legazpi Boulevard first to witness the wonder.

A morning toast of taho!

Our brekky before we onboard our boat:

As you may have known from our Island Hopping our first stop was at Vanishing Island.  In there we ate of course..

Pork BBQ in the middle of the sea!

Our morning snack was care of Love Boat Tours!

As well as our yummy lunch!

Grilled Pork Liempo, grilled squid, Tuna, Bicol Express and my favorite Laing!

Our afternoon snack was sandwich and juice.. no photo -- it was eaten while on the boat :)

Our dinner was with First Colonial as well! We wanted to make sure that we were able to have a taste of their very own dishes.

Kandingga -- their version of Bopis. Grabe sa sarap!
Baked Tahong -- always masarap
Malunggay Shake -- if you are not a vegetable lover then this is for you
Tinutong Shake -- very rich rice taste and a twist

The following day -- would you believe that we didn't have breakfast?  We just had a quick sip of coffee and some bread.  We were so excited to go to Cagsawa Ruins.

Our last meal for this trip was our lunch at Gumaca Quezon.
Again, this was an accident again but it was all worth finding!

Blue Marlin with Olive Oil
Pork Chicharon

Overall, our eating experience was always, always worth it.
Especially if you are eating with your best friend!

Blurred!

How many times in your life when you feel that your LIFE is not going to the direction that you want it to be.  It feels like the lens is blurred and you cannot see clearly?

These are points in our life when we:

1. Encountered a Failure, maybe at work or at home
2. Our goals were not met, maybe entering a business, buying a car, not being promoted (soon)
3. Lost a loved one, maybe by accident or by sickness

There are many negativities in this world and these are inevitable part of our lives.  We can never experience true happiness and fulfillment if we don't fall.  We need to see a bit of darkness for us to appreciate the light!

What to do if you are feeling blurred!  Sit back and take a deep breath because you need a bit of silence. Sometimes it is not the external noise that are bothering us but our internal voices -- the little things we hear from our heart and mind sometimes clouds us from clear judgement.  Then re-focus!  That's when you will see and realize that LIFE is really a great ride -- Negativities are meant to be experienced but not lingered.

So when the time comes again that you are feeling blurred, take a deep breath and re-focus!

My Third year (Again) in Accenture!

Was there ever a time when you want to turn back time?
Several times this has happened to me and while I am now on my THIRD year (again) with Accenture -- I felt that everything happened so fast and I want to turn back time!

Turn back time to correct the mistakes that I have made and to reminisce the good times that we had!  While although turning back time is not a possibility and will never be -- I would like to share my two thoughts about what happened in the last year of my employment with my favorite employer, Accenture!

1. Change Happens - if you are an Accenture employee, you know that this is actually the norm.  If you are the type of person / employee who embraces change easily then you have been trained by Accenture well! Hehe!  With these changes, I know that I have grown as a person both professionally and personally!

2. Shit Happens - face it, things will not happen the way you want it to be.  Every person is different and a friend told me that "Our differences makes us unique".  What makes it special? -- in our differences we also learn, we make adjustments and we learn to work together as one to achieve a common goal!

I will never deny that my team played a great impact to this wonderful year with Accenture!  I will always be glad to be part of this wonderful, crazy and noisy team!

This was when we had our most recent activity --
Summer FUN - CF and Consulting CMT and HR Way!

Team Liz -- missing Jobs!!

Christmas Party at Vikings SM Mega Mall!

Our Halloween Cute Party!
Our Trick or Treat 2015

The team who eats together -- gets fat together!

I am anticipating more activities with this team.
We may lose people but their sweet smiles will never be forgotten!

Here is to more years with my third party relationship with Accenture!
